Petro Card Debarkle

In Oct 2022, FNB informed us, via email that petro cards would be discontinued at month end... Nothing on the social media about this and nothing on the website, in fact, the FNB website still allows you to APPLY for a petro card. After multiple calls and hours of waiting eventually a call Centre agent confirmed personal PETRO cards linked to premier accounts were discontinued BUT businesses could still have petro cards. SO, then came the process of trying to apply through our business to get petro cards... FOUR months later this is still going on, noone, not even the private banker assigned to our premier account, has been able to ease the pain of the process and after each form is signed and submitted there is ANOTHER form to be signed and submitted. All THIS, despite being FNB customers for 40+ years, having multiple accounts, credit cards, cars financing and business accounts... FNB is treating this loyal customer like a total stranger!!! Seriously FNB!!! You are supposed to set the bar on customer service and modern banking, why all this nonsense and red tape for a card we've had since you introduced them to the world?! "Bank of the changeables"... Maybe we should change to a bank who can do things "Simpler. Better. Faster."
