Personal Loans and FNB Life

I have logged a complaint previously via email to FNB Care and FNB Life. I received a phone call probably a week after and this after I sent another email asking for a response. My email was sent by FNB Life to the Personal Loans department and I have those correspondence. After I was retrenched last year my FNB Life policy made payments on my Personal loan, of which I had no idea had expired. No one notified (as previously when it expired after the sixth month mark) so it went unpaid, now am in arrears. The Personal Loans department handed my account over to collection to which I had no idea. They offered no apology or explanation after my complaint and am still getting emails from lawyers on behalf of FNB. Even after I made payment arrangements for the arrears. I received a total of five emails today alone. This is harresment. If I knew my policy had expired I would have made other arrangements. Am still unemployed, I had Covid19 and my mom passed away in the same month. Meanwhile no-one contacted me about this problem. I was bedridden for weeks fighting this illness. I had no idea my account was in arrears. After speaking to FNB Care and Personal Loans I thought everything was sorted out and I made the payment on the arrears. Why was FNB apologetic for this situation if am still getting harassing emails. Am extremely unhappy with the service regarding this matter. Am deeply disappointed.

So FNB tries to make it seem that they are trying to help. Their solution to my complaint is to call me.

But the calls lasted a few seconds. The last call the phone rang three seconds. Than I get an email saying the tried to contact me with no avail.

How has their phone glued to their hand to pick up a call which lasted a mere three seconds.

I think they are trying to make it seem that they tried to help, but in all fact they aren't at all.

I toke screenshots of the calls showing how long the phone rang for.

All they had to do is notify my that my policy was expiring and none of this mess would be happening right now.

And all the blame get pushed onto the client.
