Personal Loan refund

I'm highly disappointed at the service I received after settling my personal loan. I settled the loan and the balance defaulted to R0. Yesterday a debit order was taken from my cheque account. I called and was advised to follow up today. I call today and I'm told I have to wait a further 3 - 5 business days for my refund. That is unacceptable, the credit is reflecting on my loan account. Why should I wait so long for my money.
