Personal Loan insurance stopped debit order without any authority to do so

so last year i lost my job and had to contact fnb for the insurance i have on my personal loan i explained that i have lost my job they told me to qualify for the insurance to pay my loan for the next couple of months(3-6 months) i will have to fill in the forms and send it back to them. before even submitting the forms i found a job so it wasnt needed for me to fill in the forms( this happened in sept and oct 2016).

now in Jan 2017 i get a phone call stating my personla loan account is in arrears and i told them that i have a debit order on my account so they told me to hold on and they checked that the insurrance department stopped my debit order due to the fact that i didnt have a job so they did that without having any documentation from me or any proof that i was without a job.

they want to hold me liable for the arrers amount but the insurance department should be held liable as they stopped the debit order without any proof of me being without a job or the documentation to active the insurance claim.

i asked for the reference number of the call and was told i can only use my ID number as a reference number so what does that now actually mean that you dont record the phone calls because any other company will give you a unique reference number for the call after asking that i wanted to speak to the supervisor but wasnt able to due to the fact they ended the call.

get back to me ASAP a long with the insurance department on how you will resolve this issue
