Pending Transactions on Credit Card

I queried pending transactions for a rental car with my private banker on the 20th of May and received a mediocre response on 23 May.

I have asked the banker and the suite to provide me with proof of the holding deposit being returned in the form of a running balance like we have on cheque accounts so that I can see what they are talking about. I am aware that this is not the norm with credit cards but I assumed that being. Private Wealth client someone will want me to understand. The funds have not been returned even though they were reserved, they have never been released by yourselves so I am now in a deficit of almost R7000 which the bank has basically ******.

Instead of them explaining to me until I understand, I was encouraged to close all my accounts after banking with FNB for over 9 years. Despite the administration that this is going to cost me, I will do it.

Do not waste your time upgrading your profile at FNB as you will be paying fees for suites that do not go out of their way to assist you as the paying client.
