PENDING LOAN APPLICATION
App**** for a PL the 15 April 2024, and to date haven't heard anything from FNB. Mind you there was no eml, no text or fone call. Since then it's been me doing follow ups on a daily. At first i was told to go to branch for finger verification as well as submitting a letter from the SAFPS which i did. I followed up again to be told they dont have the letter and that i need to resent it which i did and was told the application is being escalated. we're nearing end of the week and still im told it's escalated. It's in times like these one wont mind the Capitec queues for that first contact resolution.

19 Apr 2024, 10:21Following this complaint, only then did I have FNB call me for them to say they have been sending me sms’s though funny enough, it doesn’t bother them that I didn’t receive the texts even though they have the correct number on their system.
Wonder what would happen in the event they genuinely attempt to send me something urgent.

If anything I keep getting calls to be “updated” though none auspicious from FNB with regards to payout either than I keep hearing the same thing I heard when I went to branch few days ago and when I followed up.
