Pending ***** Case
Hi There
I'm not sure what to do next! I called on 24 July 2018 to report a ****. I sent money from my account to another FNB account for my learners and license. This service has not yet been rendered. I called FNB to report this incident, payment was made 25 May 2018 at the sum of R2000 and the account was frozen. The agent I spoke to, Mbali, then advised me to open a case at the police station and forward my case number to ********** - however, the police station says they cannot help, I need to go through small claims court and get a court order to get my money paid back, only once that fails can they step in.
The person who was supposed to be helping me with my learners and license has since reached out. He says the account number I sent money to was not his and urged me to drop this, I have refused. He also has my account number as this is where my refund was supposed to be paid prior to me calling in to report the ****, he says the account holder is threatening to have a deposit made into my account and report it as **********, he has detailed that the account I had frozen has since been closed and there's no money trail that supports my story anymore anyway and I have expressed I will not succumb to their threats. I'm confident because I have proof of payment and the records from my account speak for themselves.
My fear is if this ********** deposit really happens, who can I report it to beforehand? its been 2 weeks since I reported the account and I haven't gone to small claims court or provided FNB with a case number, is the closing of the account something that is possible? I have sent similar email to ********** explaining this. I will be sending inbox to your facebook page as well.
I intend on going to court 7 August 2018, please advise what else you need from me to help you with this case.
Thanks
