Pending debit orders

I have been trying to reverse debit order on my cheque account scince the 15th of November. Every time I call I wait 20 minutes to speak an agent. Only to be told they cant do it because it's still a pending transaction. Well it's not pending in my bank account. The money is gone already. Today they told me I must wait another 48hrs.
