Penalty Fee for early settlement

I bought a device from FNB on their gold chq account...monthly repayments occurred timelessly without any hesitation. yesterday i decided seeing as I can at the moment, to pay off some debt. The outstanding amount was R25**.**, so when i clicked online on settlement amount it stated \ Settlement amount R17**.**
