penalising clients if they want to settle account
i was enquiring how much was outstanding on my husband's smart device from fnb. when you access his online banking it says that there is an amount of R1300 still outstanding on this tablet.
now the snag comes in, when you press settle, then all of a sudden the amount increases to R2700.

this is truly ridiciouless, i mean, that amount that is payable monthly does include interest already, why would fnb charge interest and a penalty for wanting to settle the device sooner?

this it truly very bad practice, and very unprofessional, it only causes us to believe that fnb is truly a bank that doesnt give a damn about their clients, they are only chasing money, and thats all thats important to them.

it is totally pathetic, now you want to force my husband to keep his account with fnb open just because you penalise him for wanting to get rid of the monthly payment of the smart device!!!!

this is the worst bank in the country, and i will spread the word to everyone who wants to open an account with fnb.

this is not the way to treat loyal clients of almost 5 years.!!!!
