PayPal/FNB - Bank with another bank

I have a PayPal account but bank with Absa. I have $'s in my PayPal account and for weeks I have trying to register my profile at FNB online. I picked up from the internet that the reason the registering of profile with FNB may be rejected is because I had a FNB account in the past. I did about 30 years ago. I have called helplines numerous times. Given all the error codes. NO RESPONSE NO HELP NO LINK NO MONEY!!! I have NO IDEA who to contact in order to correct... FNB???????
