Payments on FNB App
I have been trying to make a payment to my MTN Account using a simple reference (e.g. ABC123) but the FNB App keeps on giving me an error message "The Own and/or Recipient transaction references are incorrect" how is that possible? The FNB App doesn't even have tooltips to assist or guide you on which characters (if any) are not applicable.

17 Apr 2024, 13:01I was contacted by an FNB consultant that told me that MTN should give me another reference number. Can your system (FNB app) not take a take a simple ABC123 reference number? Come on
