Payment Settled but still listed after years

<p>I use to own an FNB Credit Card and I lost my job and ended up in Debt Review. I paid up all the money I owed and my debt was paid up.</p> <p> </p> <p>It's over a year or 2 since this credit was settled. I have tried applying for accounts with FNB and always get declined. Today I was at a branch and I was told that Legal has listed me and I can't get any form of credit from FNB. I just find this very unfair to me as a client. </p> <p>Can someone please explain to me what will it take for my name to be removed out of legal? Or did I miss something.</p>
