PAYMENT REVERSAL

On the 7th of July i purchased an item from what seemed a legitimate business person. I used my credit card to make an EFT payment to the recipient. However i have been sent from pillar to post about my delivery. Iwant to stop and reverse the payment however i do not understand FNB when they say they can not reverse from a credit card transaction. What is my recourse because even now the person is giving me the run around. The purchase was supposed to have been delivered on the same day i made the EFT. What can i do?

I hope it is sucessful. I used my hard earned cash to buy my wife a much needed phone only to end up dealing with untrystworthy people.

Well the person is refusing to return the money and FNB tell me i should ask the person to return it. That is why i am here because the person is not playing along.
