Payment holiday - Ridiculious
To whom it may concern I would like to find out why I was not offered the option of putting my payments on a payment holiday, but only offered the covid 19 cash relief loan. As I am sure to make more debt this time, it is rather ridiculous. I went with it as I had no other option, and was not given any other option. I have recently been in contact with other FNB customers who have been given a payment holiday. Please explain to me why I had to take the covid 19 cash relief loan and not given the option of a payment holiday. I would like to understand the benefits of the covid cash relief vs putting payments on hold. I am a good payer and have never defaulted or anything like that. So I dont understand how my bank is not looking after me and making sure that I have the best options given to me. And ALL the information to make an informed decision. I am sure it is not in the bank or my interest if I can't pay anymore due to covid and only earning a 10th of my usual salary at the moment. Would it not make sense to have your clients financially sound after this disaster going on, then in more debt than before? I work in the travel and tourism industry and as I am sure you are aware from our governments level lockdowns, we can only work - make ANY money - ON LEVEL 1. I would appreciate a speedy reply as I do not feel like fighting.
I have report this before but no success
