Paying for their mistakes
When I got married a few years back I went into FNB to change all my details including my surname and address, all my details displayed fine on the FNB web and mobile app. Now my current credit card is due to expire soon and FNB contacted me to deliver the new card, firstly they had my home address still listed as the old one and I had to inform them that I have changed it a couple of years ago. When the courier finally arrived at my house after a lot of rescheduling from their side the surname printed on my new card is my old ****en name. I informed the courier that I am not accepting the card as it’s wrong and that I will contact FNB. After a days struggle and a whole lot of airtime I finally got hold of someone at FNB just to be informed that I need to order a new card on the mobile app and that I will be charged for it. I don’t understand why I need pay for their mistakes? I’m not the one that made the error but I’m the one that needs to pay for it? I have been a client for more than 12 years and it’s just unacceptable service!!
