paying for FNB stuff's mistakes
I app**** for a cellphone using the FNB cellphone banking service, my application was approved and I received a call from their sales department to process everything. they asked me to deposit a pledge amount of R300.00 into my Savings pocket within 15 days for them to proceed with the process, which I did the following day. I received an SMS telling me to expect my phone before the 18th of this month. When the delivery guy got here, I noticed the packaging was too small for a cellphone to fit in, so I asked to see the contents before I could sign. He told me that it was not allowed that I was supposed to sign and if it was something I did not order or if there was any fault with it I should call FNB as he was just a delivery guy working for digital planet and not FNB. After opening it was just 2 sim cards and no phone. I called the number they had been using on their SMSes and they told me to go to my nearest FNB branch for assistance. I did and they put me on a phone with FNB Smart devices. I told them to cancel my everything and that I didn't want the phone anymore and they agreed. this morning I receive smses about debit orders on my FNB account which include the delivery fees and the datas to be allocated to those sim cards. 500MG on one sim and 1GB on another. this makes me want to even close my account with them as I might be paying for their stup mistakes.
