Paying for a paid up credit card over 10 years
It is with dismay and regret that I am drafting this correspondence. I'm really disappointed in the manner this recurring issue (refer to 903904 logged complaint and other logged complaints over the years with numerous visits to the credit card department also). I am of the assumption that FNB is deliberately finding excuses to either cover up a huge mistake on their part by going in circles. This situation I am being faced with Fnb credit card department has been going on for over the past 10 years.
After logging a complaint, you get statements from two attorneys handling this account. I would appreciate if you would furnish an explanation as to why two attorneys are handling one account. This question was previously forwarded to your organisation which you have failed to provide any feedback with this regard. The statement is attached on my complaint; I provided proof enough to enable you to resolve the issue quickly.
Unfortunately the previous communications both verbal and written agreements we had has never materialised, neither was it fulfilled.
As much as I want to exercise restraint in reporting this, I believe that it is in the best interest of FNB and its customers and the public at large to become aware of this continuous problem I am experiencing with the service level being received and to decide for themselves whether the media, ombudsman see it fit to act accordingly. Currently there is a judgement on my name hindering my progress to acquire assets and improve my life. Yet Fnb still enjoys my monthly banking fees and yet do nothing to resolve my credit card issue for more than 10 years.
Please advise accordingly, regarding ref.No. 903904 as to why the matter could not be resolved. Further to the above; I require the judgement rescinded alsothe debt reflecting on my account of R15,000.00 to be removed from my Fnb online profile, the credit card account closed and be issued with a settlement letter as promised since 2010. I still get charged on my cheque account even though FNB does not issue statement nor tell me what ae they charging me for
