Pathetic service to close my FNB Homeloan on time, and I am being charged for it?

I Paid off my Home Loan on the 17th of January and submitted the form as intructed. the call centre informed me that I would get billed interest accrued on the 25th of January, and they will close the Homeloan account and assign an attorney to assist in transferring of my title deed, within 7 working days.

This did not happen. I called back to homeloans on the 4th of February to follow up on the non-feedback, received an apology and a promise of a resolution, this did not happen.

it is now the 26th of February, I have not been contacted by anyone, ANd to my disgust, I see that I have been debited R2 for Interest? and charge |R58 monthly service fee on my homeloan? this is absolutely infuriating!

I called the call centre after work today at 16:55, while I was explaining my story, the clock struck 5, she hung up my call, and I could not call back as it gave me a notice that it is after hours.

I am absolutely livid at the moment, I did everything on time, as per instructions. I waited very patiently since the 17th of January, and I followed-up (even though FNB should not need their clients to follow up for them to do their jobs?)

and now I am being charged interest for a homeloan I have fully settled, and a service fee?? Do we only get proper service from FNB when we are paying large amounts of interest in a homeloan?

I need a reversal on the R2 interest charged (its only R2 but this is a matter of principle) and I would like the R58 Homeloan service fee removed from my account because I should not be paying this service fee, it is FNB's lack of competence that this account has not already been closed!
