Pathetic service - I do not recommend FNB to anyone

I have a loan with FNB that usually goes off via debit order around the 24th of each month, but only if my salary is released. That debit order went off today (23/09/2020) and was my last remaining funds that I needed to utilize urgently today. I contacted the bankers online and they would not assist me but instead referred me to a sales/loans refunds team where I held on the phone for almost 30 minutes. I finally got through to Tebogo at this department and she seemed reluctant and dropped the phone while I was explaining my predicament. Absolutely pathetic service from one person of our country's great banks. I will definitely be changing banks and make sure that every person I deal with and that I know change banks as well. I mean it's not like I'm saying I don't want to pay my loan back, I'm just saying they can see my salary hasn't been paid to me and yet but still effected the debit order and took the last money that I had reserved for other urgent matters.

Your collections manager contacted me and was also of no help to me. Im 6 months pregnant, with a 6 year old son who was recently diagnosed with Cancer and had to cancel the doctor's appointments because I don't have the funds available today anymore, as FNB took the money from my account when they could clearly see I hadn't gotten paid as yet, and those funds were reserved for medical Bills. Nonetheless, I requested a copy of the contract where it stipulates that the debit order date will change when they pick up my salary date changes as well. I am now waiting for the part of the contract indicating this. Still cannot believe how poor the service was that I received. Absolutely shocking as I have been a customer for so many years and during this period of covid 19, the bank refused to refund me and put the debit order through one day later.
