Pathetic service from FNB Private Clients

I have had a private clients bank account with FNB for just over a year. Initially clients received a rebate on fees. Since August 2020 they have been charging clients R400 a month. Its supposedly for additional services but in honesty it's just a way FNB puts money into their pockets. When I traveled in October 2020 the Bidvest lounges were open in terms of the current lockdown regulations but the Slow lounge remained close.

I could not get hold of my private banker for a period of nearly two months. I later found out they had changed my banker without informing me.

In early January 2021 my credit card was faulty and would not tap. It was an issue that I had been experiencing for a few months. They charged me a card replacement fee but until now I'm waiting for them to reverse it as they promised.

I also requested a downgrade of my account in earlyJanuary as the fees were not worthy of the very few benefits they provide. I waited over a month and phoned them countless times but was sent from pillar to post with the most useless consultants who made empty promises. After a month of frustration a new private banker stepped in but they were insistent that in order to downgrade I would need new credit cards to be issued again and I can't keep the old one. This has been a major inconvenience as my card was previously changed in January and I now have trips booked for the month of March on my credit card. I can't understand why couldn't FNB downgrade my account in January or is this the way that they ******* clients by refusing to downgrade accounts so that they can get more money monthly?

I'm glad that I haven't transferred my home loans or salary from my Standard Bank to my FNB account as yet because nobody at the bank seems to care about doing their job efficiently.
