Pathetic Service From FNB!

I am writing this review as I am sitting at the FNB Neelsie Branch in Stellenbosch.

On the 8th of September I tried to withdraw funds from an FNB at, which was having technical issues. I then tried withdrawing the funds from an ABSA bank atm. The atm did not have any funds. I received a receipt stating that the transaction was unsuccessful and will be returned to my account.

On the 11th I spoke to a consultant via secure chat who advised me that I should lay a dispute via the banking app, which I did.

This morning on the 12th September, I received 2 SMS’s: one which shows the funds was reversed to me and another showing the funds were taken from my account again. I checked my transactions on my online banking it shows the same as the SMS’s received and the same amount shows as pending.

I have spoken to so many consultants via secure chat and telephonically. Everyone just puts me to one department to the next and no one has a cooking clue of what’s happening! They all say the funds have been reversed but no one can see that they took the same amount out of my account. The last consultant eventually told me to come to the branch.

My God! The consultant at the bank had the same issue! No one can even help him and neither can he help me in the branch!

I am absolutely livid!!!!!
