PATHETIC SERVICE

I ordered a new debit card on 26 September and asked for it to be delivered to the branch as I was travelling overseas the next day.

I duly received an sms from the bank informing me that the card was available at their new Menlyn Main branch - no directions, no indication on what floor only an address. When i finally found the bank, I tried to get into the bank but the door was locked. I tried another door and it was also locked. I turned to the FNB lady dressed in FNB uniform who was chatting to some workers outside the bank and asked her where could I enter the bank. O, she told me, you can't go in because we're offline and all the doors are locked. Why did she not tell me this when I arrived at the Bank? Why did I have to ask HER what's going on, if her sole purpose at the time was to tell clients that the bank was closed.

Having wasted my time, I then went into my banking profile on the internet and submitted a complaint to FNB and told them what I had written above. I then requested that they deliver the card to me, as I do not have the time to drive up and down to the Bank hoping that they will be online!

This is more than 10 days ago, and to this day, I have NOT HAD A RESPONSE from FNB.

This is the bank who brags about their excellent service, but when push comes to shove, they are just as pathetic as the other banks they put down!!!!
