Pathetic Service

FNB spends a lot of money on their advertising campaigns and their ability to help people, but in my opinion that is merely an advertising ploy used to generate new business, which I also do understand, but I believe that they should also take that same initiative with their existing clients. FNB service and turn around times for service is pathetic. I app**** for a credit card online, approval in principle was done mmediarltely online, I immediately signed and returned the necessary documents and was informed that the turn around time for the entire process is 5 to 7 days. I needed the card as I was travelling abroad, After 7 days I was only contacted to request documents which they could have asked me for during the many calls I made to confirm of everything is in order. I send the required documents and it's almost two weeks now and no reply. Please take in consideration that my wife and my salary is deposited in to FNB, we have a home loan and car finance with FNB. I am offered credit cards daily by other banks but prefer to keep all my business in one place but it seems FNB does not appreciate my business . I had to postpone my trip due to the delay of this card. I find this unacceptable. It is totally pointless to phone their customer service as they have no answers for you. FNB REMEMBER THAT IN A TIME OF FINANCIAL CRISIS IN OUR COUNTRY APPRRCIATE YOUR LOYAL CUSTOMERS.
