Pathetic and Useless customer service!!!!!

I have never had such pathetic service from a bank in my life. An overdrawn cheque account was handed over as a legal cbs dda and I am at the bank trying to close that as it is now paid up. An hour and a half later there is still no one answering the phone at this department. What kind of joke are you trying to operate here??? No one seems to know how to even close this account or to contact the correct department.
