FNB must be the worst financial institution when it comes to loans. That is only if can be called a financial institution. I honestly believe they te people for a roller coaster ride

Firstly, I had to re-apply for a loan, because the first loan application, all my supporting documents have not been received and uploaded, yet a read report was received, which was send to ***.

This time I was ‘pre-approved’ for a larger loan in 2 weeks time which confirms that FNB are not working on any system but a ‘toss-a-coin’ system.

FNB informed me that I qualify for a loan via online banking. I completed the online application which was approved, signed the pre-agreement quotation, send all required supporting documents, just to receive a message that my loan was not approved.

Why was the loan offer made in the first place if FNB are going to decline it no matter what?

How do you qualify for a loan if the proper credit checks was not done. This tells me that the entire South Africa is pre-approved for a loan no matter what the circumstance. Surely any financial institution should do the necessary credit checks before offering a loan to someone?! Credit checks should confirm whether someone will be able to afford a loan or not and what amount can be offered to someone?!

I would like to know ASAP. why my loan was declined. Please don’t tell me it is due to lack of affordability because that is not the case.

Please have a look at Hello Peter and Facebook for my rating and review on FNB . It is completely unacceptable to receive such service, and this from a financial institutions.

First National Bank – How can we not help you! A slogan which will suite FNB much better.
