Passing the buck

In September i called in to the FNB card collections to find out my balance was on my credit card. I then paid in the amount outstanding, meaning it was settled.late November i recieved a call that I had an outstanding balance and I need to settle it.

I asked the agent where the amount comes from? Her reply to me was that i never closed the account and i needed to inform them . I told her I don't know their protocols and they should have informed me and explain my options . I requested to speak to a team leader or manager, the agent response was "they are busy". I told her it's fine and ended the call. i called again the following day, same story and this time was put on hold . Till i eventually after almost 10 min of holding , hanged up the call

I then tried calling Brenda ( ********** 037) who is a senior in the card division, whom i dealt with on another issue previously also never answered or returned my calls after leaving numerous voice messages.

If I think of FNB, all I can associate to the name is bad service and people always quick to pass the buck
