Paid up letter

I have paid up my fnb loan directly from my fnb cheque account to loan account and when I request a paid up letter,I am told it takes 45 days, what the hell, I cant even reverse the money why should I wait for 45 days, FNB give me a good reason why I should wait for 45 days, and please don't tell me about the system like the consultant who told me that the system generate the letter after 45 days, your private banking is the worst, I don't even know why I signed for private banking.
