OVERDRAFT FROZEN

FNB Overdraft frozen

One of our debt review clients app**** for debt counselling. The consumer withdrew from debt review prior to being declared over-indebted. The consumers' overdraft was frozen after his salary was paid into his account.

Consumer now does not have any money to get through the rest of the month. FNB now does not want to reinstate the over-draft due to high risk. Consumer according to our knowledge has not breached the agreement with FNB. Kindly provide feedback or reinstate the account to allow consumer to pay for essential living expenses.

This is unheard of. CONSUMER IS NOT UNDER DEBT REVIEW AND HAS NOT BEEN DECLARED AS OVER INDEBTED>
