Overdraft cancellation

I’m still stuck with this fusion overdraft thing that is just not even making sense to me as to how many times am I going to pay the studios R1000 overdraft with this stupid bank. I’ve been struggling with it for months to a point where I just left the account and not use it anymore. An FNB agent called me and told me that I needed to pay otherwise they will take legal action, okay I made the R2000+ payment to the account and now I am requesting for this stupid thing to be closed and they say I need to first pay another R1000 for it to close. Why???? And they say that the overdraft is actually by R1000, so please tell me why the account went all the way to a NEGATIVE 2000 plus???? Why is this? If there’s no money in the account let the transactions decline! Let the debit orders bounce!!!! This is sooooo annoying because even while I’m not using the account money is just being used without my consent. I have been asking for this to be closed and nooooooooooo they just refuse to do so. I will just change and request that this account be closed because there’s no way I can keep asking for the same thing twice. My advice to all of you is to just not bank with FNB. Absolutely horrible.
