Overcharge on bank charges

Im really unhappy with the service at FNB. Ever since i was "upgraded" from gold to premier account my life has nothing but sorting out bank charges. I have never had bank charges for over R400 till now. Its not even a month on this account, which i dont even know what benefits i have on it. Worse, i have now a debit order (PMT Honfee) running, which i dont even know where it came from, causing me more charges. And FNB clients have been complaining about this debit order going out of their accounts but nothing is being done about it. Im so disappointed about how we are forced to pay all these charges caused by something you could have prevented.

This is really frustrating especially since im on maternity, i had to pay these charges using savings i had saved on my savings pocket, thinking im going to use this money for my baby's milk but i couldn't even do that, now there's something else added on top of the R417 i just paid. This simply means i wont have money at all or possibly not be able to use the bank that is suppose be making life simple for me

Good day Elizabeth,

Thank you for your posting.

I have reviewed your complaint and noted that FNB Premier Resolution Centre had been in contact with you. Jacqueline had advised you the reason why your charges are high and offered to provide you with the Pricing guide which you declined and requested that your account be downgraded to a Savings account. A request to have your account downgraded had been logged and the relevant department would be in contact with you.

Regards,
