Over an hour on a simple query about why my debit order for a Covid relief loan payment did not come off my account

Over an hour on a simple query about why my debit order for a Covid relief loan payment did not come off my account. There were sufficient funds. Instead I received a message informing me my loan account is in arrears

Further to the above, on Secure Chat I was transferred to 4 different departments who could/would not help me. Eventually ended up back at one of the departments I had already spoken to. Going around in circles. Last person Nonopha told me my debit order is set for the 31st Are they trying to tell me because April only has 30 days it did not go off? I still have no answer!

So I eventually get a call from FNB apologising and admitting that they had a problem with debit orders not going off due to the 1st May being a public holiday. The lady informed me that the debit order will still be taken from my account despite the fact that I had made a manual payment. I told her I had no problem with that. The debit order did go off my account on the 6th. Despite that and my manual payment I have just today received an automated voice message urging me to make a payment as my COVID loan account is in arrears!!! I cannot wait for the day I can close all my FNB accounts, including my business account! FNB just isn't what it used to be.

Believe it or not, despite actually being in advance with my payments, I received another automated voice call informing me that my account is in arrears.
