Opening accounts without my consent

My partner opened a cheque account with fnb and when he tried to register for online banking it displayed my details. He phoned for help and was referred to a branch. At the branch he was told that the account was opened as a joint account and I must be there for any changes to be done. Who signed up for a joint account? Now I must waste my time and go to a branch to fix their mess. Hell no, just as they were able to open a joint account on my behalf in my absence let them fix this in my absence too. Now he had to be charged a fee for transferring money from a branch yet this is fnb's mess. This is totally unacceptable. Fix it
