Online application

<p>FNB promises an easy and simple salary switch with no hussle but my experience was that of a bad one. Firstly none of my debit orders were automatically loaded as promised. Then, the only thing I had to do was to activate my card online and link it via the ATM. This was not the case, I switched online but was never told that my account will be blocked as soon as my salary comes in. I called the contact centre the whole weekend, eventually got someone who told me my account was onhold and I should go to a branch. Then I went to the branch as advised, only to get to Sandton city after taking time off work to be told that I must go back to get proof of residence. This after I had to be on the queue for more than 20 minutes - now if I wanted to get apply for a bank card at the bank I would have done so instead of this stupid hussle I find myself in. When I ask to log a complaint about this whole situation, I am taken to an online station to get on to the online banking to log a complain, this because I cant do it myself online? Where is the courtesy of actually calling a manager or even taking my details for someone to actually assist me.</p> <p>5 days down the line, I still cant access my salary - what about my debit orders, grocery, petrol?</p>
