***** on cancelled Kulula credit card and being forced to pay

On the 22nd of June 2022 I contacted Kulula with regards to my credit card which was cancelled even though I had money in the card. I spoke to Ms Boitumelo Matlabane who told me that Kulula was no longer operational and that was the reason for the cancellation of my card. We worked out the refund which was due to me and what I owed Kulula. I forwarded the necessary paperwork for cancellation and proof that the card was cut up. On the 24th of June she emailed me to tell me that it would take 3 to 4 working days for the cancellation.

On the 22nd August I received a call from FNB notifying me that I owe them R5652.22 on the Kulula credit card. I asked the consultant how that could be possible as the card was cancelled and destroyed. I was forced to make a settelment which I refused. After that I was contacted on multiple occasions but when I asked to speak to someone in charge I was not allowed to. I then emailed Kulula and FNB with no positive results. I called and both Kulula and FNB and they kept putting me through to each other and none of them could help. I had been forwarding emails up until 2024.

When I finally thought it was all over, FNB handed me over to Hammond Pole Attorneys. I forwarded the string of emails to them from 2022 to 2024. The latest email I received from them was that I should make payment if I do not want to be blacklisted. They have not even taken into account my emails.

Please I ask for your assistance.
