Old ID number is being used on my account which is causing problems

I submitted my FICA documents to the bank many years ago and supp**** my new RSA ID number. I then also contacted the call centre to ensure that my ID number was updated. I obtained a confirmation of account letter today and see that the OLD ID number is still being used! Now I see whay SARS is refusing to pay me my tax refund due to "a probelm with my bank account". FNB, please will you update my ID number so I don't have these issues cropping up in the future!?
