Offer me credit card then turn me down??

Been banking with FNB for over 10 years now. They have harrassed me with messages and phone calls for loans and credit cards etc saying I qualify. Finally, at age 31 I am brave enough to get a credit card so I apply online, they call me 3 days later and tell me my application was unsuccessful, however, my credit score is exceptional, I earn more and I don't have debt, everything is paid off... When asked why it was unsuccessful the lady couldn't tell me. I am shocked, How can you spam me with phone calls and messages to get a credit card and then when I apply you turn me down but then offer loans and credit cards to people who cant pay it off?? Please explain FNB!!???
