Number stop working and I can't port out from FNB Connect.

I ported my business number to FNB on 3 Jan 2017. It was the BIGGEST mistake I ever made !!!.

Since porting over to FNB my clients have continuesly let me know that they struggle to get hold of me. When I want to make phone calls, I continuesly can't as I have no service on the phone from FNB.

On more then one occasion I will make a call and the person which answers is a complete stranger. When I redial the same number I will get through to the correct person, so it isn't a error from my side. Many of my clients have also reported to me that this happens to them aswell when they try calling me. This has been going on from the day I switched over to FNB connect.

Then out of the blue, after attempting to make a phone call I noticed I once again had no cell reception . After calling FNB help line 147, they discovered my sim number all of a sudden was not added onto the network . They informed me that they would add my number again and within 24 hours it will be sorted.

That was the final straw. I wanted to port back to Vodacom. That just opened a whole lot of new issues!!!!

My number was ported to FNB as prepaid. When I wanted to port out they said it wasn't possible as the number is on a contract. I don't know who at FNB decided to make my prepaid number a contract number. On my FNB online banking it is listed as prepaid, but on their side it's listed as a contract.

While I am battling for them to sort out this issue, I realised that for some reason I am no longer able to recieve SMS's anymore. I once again called the help line on the 29th March 2017 to sort this out. The call agent informed me it wiould be sorted within 24 hours. When after 24 hours the problem was still not sorted I called again only to be told it is 24 BUSINESS hours (they should rather inform people it is 3 days so as to avoid confusion).

The next day I then realized I can also no longer recieve any calls above and beyond also still not being able to recieve sms's.

I have called the help line over and over again and each agent tells me a different story, they even changed my phones settings but nothing seems to work . I was then told I must wait for the technical people to call me. Still nothing. I called them back after a couple of days, they said the technical ppl tried to call be but they couldn't get through to me. UM DUH thats what I have been telling them all along that I can't recieve calls on the number and that is why I gave them my private number to be able to contact me on, which no one does.

I called them again on 7th April 2017. I told them I cant port to vodacom cause they sent a PIN to the number which want to be ported. They cant continue with the process cause I cant provide them with the PIN.

At this point I have had enough. I called FNB AGAIN this time, they said I must call ********** (this number doesn't even exist) or * ********** # then I need to switch off my phone. Remove the sim and wait for 10 min. That will solve the issue. The operater also stated he would call me back within 40 min on the number in question to test and see if it is working, else he wil contact me on my private number. Yet again as before FNB's empty promises, no one called me back and the problem is still not solved.

It is now close to 2 weeks that this problem is ongoing! I am losing clients, business and income. I am also unable to make payments as my OTP pins's are linked to this business number.

I am beyond frustrated and disappointed with the service and would really appreciate it if this issue could get resolved ASAP!!!!

Can someone PLEASE at FNB sort this out. Its been 2 days since FNB promise me to contact me and keep me posted. WHAT is THE ISSUE !!!!

For Vodacom to port me out they require a pin which I can't provide them cause I STILL cant recieve SMS or CALL on this number.
