Nothing Special about Private Banking

Ke Dezember Boss, always a financial nightmare for most people. So I know I won't make a few debit order payments but figure that since I was upgraded to Private Banking Status, I am sure FNB will find away to help me since they always asking How can we help you? So I send a message to my banker Glenrose Msibi and wait for her call to see how we can avoid charges and save me money. She call me after 2 days, but I am in a meeting and ask if she could call back after 30 minutes. To date, I am still waiting. After a day or two, I call FNB call centre and explain my situation and ask if they cant hold the payments for 2 weeks and I will sort out the overdrawn amount then. Very friendly lady says she can't help because of my 'status' and that someone from Private Banking will call me. I did get that call 7 days after they reversed the debit orders as unpaid and I was charged close on R1000 in fees. Seems like I would have got a better deal if i didn't have the 'status'. Well done FNB .... you didn't know how you could help me :-( oh and Glenrose ..... don't call me!
