Not worth the business

FNB products are ****. I took out a smart device recently from FNB devices. The device has been giving my problems. It used up 20 Gigs of data to do an update, but still is unable to complete the update. I called the call center and spoke to a technician who told me to go to some place which has a hotspot in order to configure this device. I then asked how much of data was required to configure the device. I was then told tgat there seems to be a problem, they will fetch the device, assess and repair or replacement if needs be. Device is at most 2 weeks old. I was given a reference number of FNB470188. Suffice to say that the device has not been fetched as yet. I called the call center and dealt with 2 rude agents. Their team leader has already gone home, so the one agent hands over to another who claimed to be a second in charge. I tried giving them the ref number, but instead of listening, they expect you to go through everything again. It got to a point where I started using language... is this how FNB treats it's clients??? It's now home time, let's get the agents to perform poor customer service and still request for a rating??? Please fetch your useless device and cancel the contract. I am looking to bank elsewhere as you guys give more stress than help. AGENTS are Reena and Creben from the devices call center.

Reviewer Update
This is the response I received, bare in mind that this device is literally under 2 weeks old and has not been used due to it not being able to upgrade also bare in mind that FNB devices promised to fetch the device last week: I hope that you are well. Please note we have received your complaint from hello peter and our findings are as per below: We have requested Platinum warranty repair centre to call you and assist, as they have advised that if they collect and assess there will be a fee involved. Please note if the issue is found to be software you will liable to pay the fee to have the device configured as software is not covered under the manufacture warranty Please note that if you wish to cancel, your device needs to be collected and graded and depending on the grading a cancellation letter will be sent to you. Please note you are requesting cancellation out of the 7 day cooling period therefore you will be liable for a cancelation fee depending on the grading of the device. Regards SDV Care Team. Now tell me, how do I know what grading is being referred to and how fair is this process???
