Not worth it to be a private client

On 8 November I tried to increase my credit card limit with R2k on the app. Everytime I tried to move the indicator on the sliding scal it kept on jumping to a value that is R10k lower then what my balances was at. It finally went to the amount I wanted but when I clicked on accept I notice that it was on the amount that was R10k lower than my current credit card limit.

On the Monday or Tuesday after that I phoned FNB private clients to fix the issue and just return my limit to what it was. I was assisted by Ntabiseng who escalated the matter and told me it takes 48 hours to resolve.

On the 18th the matter was still not resolved so I phoned private clients again. Masekela assisted me on this day and said that he can see Nthabiseng escalated the matter and will ask her to give me a call back with feedback. I told Masekela that I am concerned about the impact of this on my credit score and that I want to escalate the matter as I needed it resolved on that day. He agreed with me but said he will tell her to call me.

On the 20th the matter was still not resolved. I tried to increase my credit card limit to what it was before but the site did not allow me to increase it with more than R300. I saw that this issue has already impacted my score as the interest rate jump with 5% I phoned private clients again and told the person that I want to escalate the matter as it has not been resolved and I'm concerned about my credit score. The person was unhelpful and tried to put me through to Nthabiseng again but the call dropped.

I phoned again and asked to be put through to Nthabiseng but she didn't answer. The person on the other end said that she will send her a request to call me back and I told her that someone already requested that on Monday and she has not called. Apparently there is no case number allocated to the escalation she submitted. I told the person that I will lay a complaint on hello Peter if I was not called back by 12.... And here we are.

All I want is for my credit limit to be moved back to where it was and the impact on my credit score to be rectified.
