Not worth a Title

I had a credit card with FNB in 2013, Got retrenched together with my wife. and was sitting without a job for more than 8 months. We decided to go onto debt review. Later on we find out my debt review company never paid our debt. we almost lost everything. This credit card balance if I can remember correctly went from below R7000 debt owed to FNB, now currently sitting on a staggering R64000 from interest.

So also this card never showed on my credit profile after I came of debt review. After I bought a house, a car and now suddenly it is back on my profile again.

I called them yesterday asking for a settlement letter, so i can just get this of my name. they just sent me a account number to pay the full amount into.

When I asked for a discount they blatantly refused.

I really need help with this.

I want to purchase a new property, but with this thing hanging over my head it is just not possible.

Is there anyone at FNB that has a heart and willing to give me some sort of discount?

I dont think so.
