Not keeping customers informed

My credit card was supposed to be delivered on Friday 27th Oct. A takealot guy arrives on Friday with my card? Okay fine. I had my proof of address and ID (plus copy) as requested by FNB. This guy could not give me my card as I did not have proof of address for my workplace? How am I supposed to have proof of address for my workplace?? So the guy eventually left and said he would come back on Monday 30th Oct. Not sure why because he still wasn't going to get proof of address for my workplace but he didn't come on Monday anyways. Now no one has updated me on the status of my card, I have phoned FNB twice to find out what's going on, they transfer me to the carriers but they just don't answer. I moved to FNB because they say, "Switch to FNB now online" because it's quick and easy.... Well that's not exactly the case by the way. When you create an account online, your account is basically frozen until you FICA'd. Understandably. But FNB doesn't tell you that your account is frozen and you can send small amounts into the account and it works. So I think my account is now active. I also send through my FICA documents to FNB as requested. So now I think my account is active, I phoned FNB and asked them if my account is active and that I can send my salary there now, they say yes it's fully active. Cool.... well that was not correct as my salary bounced back because the account was still frozen! Now I phone FNB and they confirm my account is frozen and I have to go to a branch to FICA my account and unfreeze it. I don't mind going to a branch and sorting things out but FNB PLEASE KEEP YOUR CUSTOMERS INFORMED ABOUT WHAT THE STATUS OF THEIR ACCOUNT IS! Right now I just want to know where my card is and what is happening because I have not been informed about anything since the 27th of OCT!

Hi, FNB has responded very well to my complaint and I now have my credit card. They also called me and made sure that the proof of address issue was addressed and they kept me informed. That's all I wanted. Hopefully they address these points in the future with future clients.
