Not informing clients that Data will expire
Although I am usually quite happy with the service, this one annoyed me, as FNB is blatantly lying to clients, and they refuse to do anything about it. If you purchase Data from their web site, they do not mention that the data expired within a month. Previously the data did not expire. So I happily purchased 10GB worth of data, with the hope of it lasting me many months, only to be notified that the remaining 90% will expire withing a few days. Upon contacting FNB, they say it is an MTN problem. When you contact MTN they say that the contracts that FNB sold has changed, and that FNB should have told me. Can I please just get a refund on the remaining data? And please update your site so that your clients KNOW that they are buying monthly bundles.

Imagine buying a car and not being told that it will stop working in a month. Surely the dealership should inform a buyer of this restriction that the manufacturer told them about.
Consumer Protection Act
"RIGHT TO PROTECTION AGAINST FALSE, MISLEADING OR DECEPTIVE REPRESENTATIONS.
Suppliers are not permitted to provide false, deceptive or misleading representations regarding services and products." ( https://www.saconsumercomplaints.co.za/your-rights/)
But apparently it is OK for a bank to do this.
