Not getting a paid up letter
The worst bank I have ever been with. Will be closing my account and finding another bank! I have been requesting a paid up letter since Friday. It has been 6 days and constant phone calls. Still no letter and no feedback. I phone FNB everyday for feedback and people keep telling me it will get escalated and they will phone me back! My credit card was paid up in August already, why am I still struggling to get this paid up letter? Why is it still seen as active on my credit bureau?? FNB is causing me to struggle to apply for car finance! All because they simply cannot type and send me a letter and close the active mandate. What is so difficult? I hate this bank!

26 Dec 2025, 15:44My issue has NOT been resolved. I have active mandates on my credit bureau that date back to 2023 that should all have been closed by FNB but has not!!!! This is affecting my chance of getting vehicle finance. I phoned and asked it to be closed but it is still open!!!!!!!! You are the reason why I am sitting without a car. I hate this bank.
