Not even poor service, there was NO SERVICE!
I recently opened an account with FNB for a credit card. During the application process I had to supply certain documents which included my ID and proof of residence. However, a week later I was notified by their KYC/FICA department that they needed a valid copy of my ID and proof of residence. This made no sense to me because I'd already supp**** those so I phoned the KYC department and was told I needed to resupply the documents as they were a separate department and therefore did not have access to my documents supp**** during the application process - YER THEY'RE PART OF THE SAME BANK!?! I obliged and emailed through the documents on 2 December 2015. 9 Days later and still NO RESPONSE from them, they froze my account though. I then called today and after being cut-off 4 times I eventually got through to someone who said they'd received my documents, but that they'd been \overlooked""; if I hadn't called and persisted NOTHING WOULD HAVE BEEN DONE. I don't want some cheap response to this report; so please don't bother replying;I just want the public to know."""
