Not disabled friendly, need to spend more money just to see my card in my profile
Most complicated and outdated banking model I have ever experienced. And your phone prompt asks for ID number and then reports incorrect number of digits. My business card is not available to me in my business profile. I need a personal profile to see my card and therefore access pin information, but I need another account in order to get a personal profile. So I have to pay for another service I don't want through a bank which after multiple phone calls, can't change an email address and loaded my business into a personal profile which is dormant and exists but doesn't exist but is providing all the incorrect details for my business, so I can't properly authenticate. And it's dormant so can't use it to get to my card information. And the default answer is "go into the branch". I'm disabled and that is not possible for me. As it is I needed to make plans to get to an ATM to activate my business card after half the call centre agents said it could be done online and half said it couldn't. Discovery had my account setup and card delivered within 48 hours, all features available on my app, no need to go anywhere. FNB I have to login via a computer to access my card (tried via phone as I don't have access to a computer right now), and their online portal doesn't work on mobile. I'm flabbergasted. I'm a UI/UX developer and product owner in the banking space, how can you offer products that force clients to spend more money to have access to their assets, and then not even have responsive or mobile friendly/first online methods for me to use your complicated and ridiculous system to access my account. I don't have access via the app, your site forces me to use the app unless I open on new tab, in which case none of the buttons work and I don't have access to what I was told I would have access to! Horrible experience. Overly complicated and putting unnecessary complications into your user and then expecting me to spend more money with you to fix the problem. I'm actually disgusted.
I still have not had a phone call or response to that email.
I still do not have access to any form of information on my card.
I followed the call centres instructions and finally managed to create a personal online profile.
Now I need to go to an ATM or go into branch to activate said *online* profile, so that I can have access to my business card.
This entirely defeats the purpose of online.
Three other banks can manage to get this right via telephonic or agent assistance.
I am not able to go to a Branch. I am not able to go to the ATM. Why are there no other options to accommodate people who are movement impaired, in a day and ago of full digital access.
We have multiple online only banks who have NO branches, nor ATMs, and they get it right too!
You are effectively holding my card hostage.

19 July I receive a snarky email back, using my full name, asking me for a full colour copy or a certified ID copy no more than 3 months old. Talk about missing the point!
If I could go out and get my ID certified, I would be able to go to the branch.
Since then, nothing.
No resolution.
No communication.
So much for: A formal complaint has been logged on your behalf and referred to the relevant department will provide you with feedback.
When? When I've moved my account? Because I'm at that point. I will take the lost money as school fees.
Funnily enough I see on LinkedIn up upsurge of FNB looking for UI/UX developers. Finally! But this only works if they are cross functional across all of your digital tools, which most banks don't do, and is extremely obvious by how your site, front end app, and deeper applications respond.
