NOT ABLE TO SOLVE OUR QUERY FOR 2 MONTHS

Hello Peter

My wife and I switched our accounts from Capitec to the a cheq account at FNB as prescribed by the sales agent from FNB. That was in Oct this year. Every time I asked about the details of our account if our debit orders had been switched, if our eBucks had been loaded on our account was activated as we had been promised when we switched and our debit orders moved to FNB. The whole process was a complete nightmare. After two months of sorting out our debit orders and having our salaries switched to FNB we found out that some debit orders can not be switched by a 3rd party. How ironic as they advertise how efficiently they can switch your debit orders but they don't give you the finer details. We had been working up our credit record to get a better score in order to get a bond for a house we want to buy. Now our debit orders bounce and our profile reflects that we don't stick to our payment arrangements. HOW!!!! Oh yes because our salaries where NEVER SWITCHED! and certain debit orders where unpaid! Then we get charged for unpaid debit orders by FNB and by the company we did not pay. The bank manager called me and said she would call me again as i was not available to take her call at that time, THIS WAS 5 WEEKS AGO. I am still waiting for her to call me back.

Then to top it all off, FNB charged my wife's account for a outstanding fee witch was settled 12 months ago. To date we have heard NOTHING from the agent NOTHING from his manager and NOTHING about reversing the charges on our accounts for money they deducted without communicating to us. I HAVE HAD NO JOY being with FNB this is very sad as I had my account with FNB for some time and even got my wife to join. BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER.
