Not able to get feedback on my Credit Card *****

This seems like the only way to get hold of FNB.

I had a ********** transaction go off on my credit card about a month ago. And even though feedback was supposed to be given within 7 to 10 working days, I have heard nothing about the case.

There were apparently, a few calls to my home number from FNB - but I'm not even sure if it was regarding the same issue. Obviously if one is working during the day, the home number should not be the primary (and only) contact option. After failed attempts to contact me at home, I have received SMSes on my cell, explaining that they haven't been able to contact me (why not call the self same cell number in the 1st place).

In attempting to get feedback for myself, I've not sat on the line to the ***** department for multiple half an hour spells at a time, having to listen to the same annoying message playing on loop.

This service is ridiculously bad. Especially in a situation of need.

This complaint has still not been resolved. The incident took place more than a month ago, and despite receiving confirmation that the amount would be refunded about 3 weeks ago, this has still not happened. I am back to having to try and get hold of the credit card department myself to try and follow up.

Here are a summarized list of the issues I have experienced: - A ********** transaction goes off on my account. - Credit card cancelled. - FNB spends a month investigating the issue. - I receive no feedback on the case having to try on multiple occasions to contact the credit card ***** department myself. - I upgrade my account as part of the new credit card that needs to be granted to me - FNB opens the account and delivers only the cheque card, creating a version of the credit card online by never delivering it. - Have to order another credit card via the app. - The new credit card arrives, but the generated credit card that I never received is still on the system, and there is no way of removing it. - A month after the new account is opened I still have no feedback on the ***** case. - Phone the credit card ***** line again. - They tell me that the amount was refunded to the old account and immediately reversed, but the money should still have been rerouted to my new account. - The FNB consultant tells me to go look at my statement balance and calculate if the "refunded" amount is affecting the balance. - No notifications, and nothing in my transaction history - I logon to the FNB app to select statement balance dates and "the system is unavailable". - Try again later and it doesn't accept my statement dates. - The option now would be to contact customer care and be fed information that I cannot see or verify for myself. FNB is just making money off me from the bank balance, transactions and in bank fees. The only time I need assistance is when something out of the ordinary happens. Busy researching other banks now. These paid reviews on Google about FNB can't be trusted.
