No value for clients
So, FNB has in recent years turned out to be the best choice in banking. The staff, majority are very friendly and helpful especially Mpumelelo, very professional yet friendly and helpful. I was in shock to say the least when I needed some R1 coins for a prayer we do every year and was told by the 2 FNB female staff at the door that they won't be able to swap R100 note for 100 R1 coins as they only give change to "business" people. I was in shock, a bank I thought actually valued all their clients couldn't care less for the lay person when it came to assisting them with change for even R100. It's quiet difficult to get change from a shop or anywhere else, the bank and your bank is really the only place to go and here they point blank refused. I then went to ABSA who have no such rule and assisted me with the coins with no questions asked. That is a big thing, to know you are valued irrespective of what you do or if you are a business owner. Shame on FNB, it's shocking and extremely disappointing to say the least.
